KARACHI: Epilepsy Foundation Pakistan President and noted neurophysician Dr. Fowzia Siddiqui emphasized the importance of early diagnosis and treatment in ensuring a good quality of life for epilepsy patients. Addressing patients and families at a monthly free medical camp, she noted that neurological issues such as epilepsy, stroke, and tremors require immediate consultation with an experienced neurophysician to improve patient outcomes.

According to Aafia Movement, the camp, organized in collaboration with Helix Pharma, aims to provide assistance to epilepsy patients unable to afford treatment. Dr. Siddiqui highlighted that these conditions are treatable, and early intervention can lead to significant improvements in patients' lives. The monthly camp offers free consultations, medications, and support for necessary medical tests, reinforcing the importance of accessible healthcare for all.
