Karachi, In response to the severe heatwave affecting the city, Dow University of Health Sciences has established a “Heat Wave Relief Camp” on Baba e Urdu Road to provide respite and assistance to the public.
According to Dow University of Health Sciences, the camp was initiated under the directive of Vice Chancellor Professor Muhammad Saeed Quraishy, with Registrar Dr. Ashar Afaq overseeing its operations and making multiple visits to ensure its effectiveness. The camp has been distributing small bottles of “Riva Water” to both passers-by and students, with a focus on vulnerable groups such as children, women, and the elderly.
