Karachi: Dow University of Health Sciences organized protest rallies across its campuses to denounce Indian aggression and demonstrate solidarity with the Pakistan Armed Forces. The gatherings were held at the Ojha and Dow Medical College campuses.
At the Ojha Campus, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Jehan Ara Hassan led a rally attended by hundreds of students, faculty, and staff. Simultaneously, Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. Nazli Hossain directed a rally at Dow Medical College. Participants carried placards with slogans condemning Indian actions.
The campuses resonated with chants such as “Pakistan ka matlab kya – La ilaha iIal Allah”, “Pakistan Zindabad”, and “Pak Fauj Zindabad”.
Addressing the crowd, Prof. Dr. Jehan Ara Hassan stated that India’s actions would not achieve their objectives. She emphasized the importance of unity and solidarity, urging students to support the armed forces as defenders of the nation.
At Dow Medical College, banners reading “Pak Army, March Forward – We Are With You” were raised. Faculty members condemned India’s actions as violations of international laws and assaults on civilians.
Faculty members declared, “These acts by India cannot weaken our resolve.” They expressed unwavering support for Pakistan’s armed forces and people, asserting the nation’s unity and determination to defend its sovereignty.
In a concluding statement, the university affirmed its alignment with national dignity, stressing the need for unity and resolve. Pakistan maintains its stance as a peaceful nation, asserting its right to defend its honor against aggression.
