CHIEF MINISTER PUNJAB INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME SET TO ENHANCE YOUTH SKILLS

Lahore: The Chief Minister Punjab Internship Programme, an initiative designed to enhance the professional skills of young individuals across the province, is set to be launched soon by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz. Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab, Muzaffar Khan Sial, chaired a key meeting at Punjab Stadium on Monday to finalize the preparations for the program.

According to Sports Board Punjab, the meeting was attended by high-ranking officials including Director General Sports Punjab Pervez Iqbal, Director General PITB Sajid Latif, and other key figures from the Bank of Punjab. Secretary Sial emphasized that the internship program would significantly contribute to skill development among youth, offering a stipend of Rs 25,000 per month over a six-month period to each participant.

The program initially aims to benefit six thousand young individuals, providing them with financial support and professional training across various sectors. It is part of a broader strategy to foster development and create ample opportunities for the youth in Punjab.
