Remembering him as a courageous patriot, Bilawal commended Murtaza’s lifelong fight against oppression and his commitment to the democratic principles of his father, Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.
A statement released by Bilawal House emphasized that Mir Murtaza Bhutto’s assassination continues to be a painful chapter in the nation’s history, serving as a stark testament to the Bhutto family’s sacrifices for democracy. Bilawal asserted that his uncle’s murder was a “nefarious conspiracy,” a calculated move to undermine the Bhutto family’s political influence.
