Karachi / Islamabad / Lahore: On the occasion of Youm-e-Ashura, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), highlighted the enduring legacy of Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS), emphasizing his stand against tyranny and injustice, marked by courage and faith.

According to Pakistan Peoples Party, Chairman Zardari in his message pointed out that the sacrifices of Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) and his companions serve as a guiding light for humanity, inspiring ongoing struggles for justice, equality, and human rights. “Their commitment to the values of Islam motivates us to persist in our efforts for a just society,” he noted. Chairman Zardari called for unity within the Muslim Ummah and encouraged all communities to foster peace and harmony, rejecting violence and extremism in favor of Islam’s true teachings of love, tolerance, and brotherhood.

In his concluding remarks, Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari offered prayers for the peace, stability, and prosperity of Pakistan, expressing hope that the lessons of Karbala would lead to a just and equitable society where the values of Imam Hussain (AS) are fervently upheld.
