Islamabad: Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), has expressed profound sorrow over a tragic accident in Iran that resulted in the death of several Pakistani pilgrims. The accident has drawn attention to the safety of pilgrims traveling abroad and the need for robust support systems in times of crisis.
According to Pakistan Peoples Party, in a statement released by the Media Cell Bilawal House, Chairman Zardari conveyed his deep condolences to the families affected by the tragedy. He offered prayers for the deceased, hoping for their eternal peace and a high place in Jannat-ul-Firdaus. Further addressing the incident, he has called on Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Pakistani Embassy in Tehran to coordinate closely with the bereaved families to facilitate the prompt repatriation of the remains of the victims.
Chairman Zardari emphasized the urgent need for ensuring that injured pilgrims receive the best possible medical care and stressed the importance of government institutions fulfilling their responsibilities effectively during such critical times.
