KARACHI: Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, has paid tribute to the martyrs of the Army Public School in Peshawar on the anniversary of the attack, remembering the children and teachers whose lives were lost on December 16.
In a press release from the Media Cell Bilawal House, Bhutto Zardari expressed that the tragedy remains a significant moment of grief for the nation and has reinforced Pakistan’s determination to combat terrorism. He emphasized the need for unity and justice, stating, “December 16 reminds us that terrorism has no religion, no humanity, and no justification.”
Bhutto Zardari reiterated the PPP’s dedication to fostering peace, education, and adherence to the rule of law. He assured that the party stands with the families of those affected by the tragedy and is committed to ensuring a future where children can thrive without fear.
“We bow our heads in reverence to the APS martyrs,” he concluded, underscoring that their sacrifice continues to inspire efforts toward a more secure Pakistan.
