Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Extends Diwali Greetings to Hindu Community, Emphasizes Unity and Inclusion

Lahore: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari extended warm greetings to the Hindu community in Pakistan and globally on the occasion of Diwali. The festival of lights, celebrated widely among Hindus, is seen as a symbol of unity, peace, and goodwill, embodying values that contribute to Pakistan’s rich cultural heritage.

According to Pakistan Peoples Party, in a message released by the Media Cell at Bilawal House, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari expressed his congratulations and acknowledged the significant contributions of the Hindu and Scheduled Castes communities to Pakistani society. “Diwali celebrates the triumph of light over darkness and symbolizes a commitment to harmony, respect, and understanding among all communities,” he stated.

Bilawal further emphasized the PPP’s dedication to protecting the rights of all religious minorities in Pakistan, affirming the party’s commitment to creating a society where traditions can be celebrated freely and with dignity. “The values Diwali represents—hope, strength, and compassion—are principles we must uphold as we strive for a progressive and inclusive Pakistan,” he added. He reiterated PPP’s commitment to fostering an environment of mutual respect and unity for every citizen, regardless of faith.
