Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Celebrates PPP Victory in Rahim Yar Khan, Calls for National Unity

Islamabad: Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, praised the electoral victory of Makhdoom Tahir Rashid ud Din as a new member of the National Assembly from Rahim Yar Khan, and hailed the people of Punjab for their decisive rejection of divisive politics.

According to Pakistan Peoples Party, during his speech in the National Assembly, Chairman Bilawal commended the organizational efforts in South Punjab, which played a pivotal role in countering destructive forces through popular support. He underscored the importance of trust in the electoral process and called for political cooperation to restore dignity to both the Parliament and political practices in the country.

Chairman Bilawal also addressed recent controversial statements attributed to Prisoner No. 804, urging an internal investigation by the PTI to confirm their authenticity. He highlighted the need for accountability and respect for constitutional processes amidst allegations of attempts to undermine democracy through various unconstitutional means. The Chairman’s remarks come at a time when the political landscape of Pakistan is particularly tumultuous, with ongoing investigations into election irregularities and accusations of constitutional sabotage by certain factions.
