Islamabad: The ASME Chapter of the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) has earned recognition as its representative clinched the 3rd position at the NUST H-12 ASME EFx-2025 event. This accomplishment underscores the chapter’s dedication to promoting technical skills and boosting student involvement in national engineering contests.
Khayyam Ayub, the Section President of ASME IIUI and a student in the BS Mechanical Engineering program, represented his university in the Oral Technical Competition at the event. Ayub’s performance among participants from top institutions earned him a commendable 3rd place finish and a $200 prize. His success demonstrated his technical proficiency, effective presentation skills, and innovative thinking.
The ASME-IIUI Chapter credited the persistent guidance of Dr. Engr. Asad Asghar Janjua, a Lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and the Faculty Supervisor of the chapter. His mentorship has been pivotal in inspiring students to excel and take part in both national and international forums.
