Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi and Alliance Française Collaborate for International Music Fest

Karachi: The Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi, in partnership with Alliance Française de Karachi, hosted the "International Music Fest - Fête de la Musique" at Studio One, featuring celebrated musicians from France and Pakistan. The event aimed to promote cultural harmony through music, attended by prominent figures including Arts Council President Muhammad Ahmed Shah and Alliance Française Director Emmanuel Breurec, alongside musicians, artists, diplomats, and enthusiasts.

According to Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi, the festival showcased performances by French artists Saffron Sweaters, Clément Visage, and DJ SQLN. Clément Visage, known for his electronic pop music exploring themes of sensitivity and identity, delivered a notable performance. Pakistani artists Arman Rahim, Muzammil, and Shahid Rehman also performed, blending traditional and contemporary sounds, which was met with enthusiastic applause.

The event highlighted the power of music to foster intercultural dialogue and understanding, with French and Pakistani musicians sharing the stage. This collaboration reflected the spirit of Fête de la Musique, emphasizing music's ability to connect people across cultures. The festival concluded successfully, affirming the commitment of both institutions to enhancing cultural ties between Pakistan and France.
