Arabic Faculty Female Staff Meet Dean to Set Academic Priorities for New Semester

Islamabad: The Faculty of Arabic at the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) convened a meeting of its female faculty members with Dean Prof. Dr. Fazlullah on Thursday at the Fatimah Al-Zahraa Building to inaugurate the new academic semester.

The Dean commenced the gathering with a welcoming speech, steering discussions toward key initiatives designed to fortify the academic and educational landscape within the faculty. He emphasized the significance of mentoring students according to Islamic values and teachings, accentuating the crucial role female faculty play in molding students’ character and ethical growth.

Participants explored plans to elevate academic performance, foster students’ cultural and moral advancement, and organize supplementary activities to aid in their holistic development.

During the session, Prof. Dr. Fazlullah also extended a warm welcome to Dr. Samaira Saghir on her appointment to the Center for Teaching Arabic to Non-Native Speakers. He expressed faith in her ability to enhance the center’s effectiveness and further its educational and cultural mission. Dr. Samaira expressed gratitude for the Dean’s confidence and vowed her full dedication to fulfilling the center’s goals.
