Alumni Relive Memories, Celebrate Legacy At F.C.C.U. Open Day

Islamabad: Nearly 130 alumni and their families returned to Forman Christian College University (F.C.C.U.) for the Alumni Open Day (Campus Tour Day) 2025, reconnecting with their alma mater and celebrating its recent progress.

The gathering began with a campus video showcasing F.C.C.U.’s advancements, followed by a welcome address from Mrs. Badia Raza, Chief Marketing and Outreach Officer. She highlighted the institution’s expanded scholarship and financial aid initiatives, emphasizing the importance of alumni support for current scholars.

F.C.C.U. Rector Dr. Jonathan S. Addleton praised the alumni’s accomplishments and contributions to the community. He discussed the university’s growth, including campus improvements, increased student diversity, and the high quality of the faculty. Dr. Addleton also honored the legacy of F.C.C.U.’s first rector, Dr. Peter H. Armacost, with a moment of silence.

Several former students shared personal stories and fond recollections of their time at the university. Mr. Muhammad Talal, Assistant Manager Alumni Relations, thanked the attendees and encouraged them to contribute to financial aid programs, reiterating the university’s appreciation for its alumni.

Attendees then embarked on a guided tour of the campus, highlighting the Campus Center, the Digital Library, and the new Campus Store. The event concluded with a group photo, capturing the shared history and connection between the alumni and F.C.C.U.
