Lahore: The Al-Khidmat Foundation has announced that it successfully provided welfare services to more than 1.27 million people across Pakistan during Ramadan 2025. The foundation’s president, Professor Dr. Hafeez-ur-Rehman, highlighted that these efforts amounted to over one billion rupees, made possible through the support of philanthropists and the dedication of volunteers.
The foundation’s initiatives included distributing food packages, organizing Iftar programs, and providing Zakat-ul-Fitr to deserving families. Approximately 100,000 families received essential rations, while Iftar events in various locations such as mosques, madrasas, and labor camps benefited 428,000 individuals.
Furthermore, financial assistance through Zakat-ul-Fitr was extended to orphans, widows, and others in need, aiding approximately 300,000 people. Dr. Hafeez-ur-Rehman emphasized that the foundation’s services were available to all deserving individuals without discrimination.
Vice President Zikrullah Mujahid reiterated the foundation’s commitment to serving marginalized communities with dignity, noting that Al-Khidmat operates year-round in areas such as orphan care, health, education, and disaster management. The foundation expressed gratitude to all supporters and volunteers, pledging to continue its mission of service nationwide.
