Islamabad: On the directions of First Lady Bibi Asifa Bhutto Zardari, key government buildings will be illuminated in pink on the evenings of 19 and 20 October to mark Pinktober, the annual breast cancer awareness campaign. The initiative aims to raise public awareness about breast cancer, underlining the importance of early detection and encouraging timely medical consultation.

According to Pakistan Peoples Party, the buildings including the President's Secretariat, Prime Minister's Secretariat, Supreme Court of Pakistan, Parliament House, and Cabinet Secretariat will be lit up in pink from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm on both nights. This effort seeks to reinforce the message that awareness and early diagnosis can save lives.
