Karachi: Belgium and the Arts Council of Pakistan in Karachi have embarked on a collaborative effort to enhance cultural ties and facilitate artist exchanges. In a recent meeting, Ms. Rayee Jasmine, the First Secretary Consular at the Embassy of Belgium, and Mohammad Ahmed Shah, the President of the Arts Council, discussed potential avenues for bilateral cultural collaboration.

According to Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi, the discussions focused on establishing structured artist residencies and professional exchange programs to foster creative connections between Belgium and the Arts Council. Ms. Jasmine toured the Arts Council's facilities and was briefed on preparations for the World Culture Festival - Karachi 2026, a major event scheduled from October 29 to November 22, 2026. She expressed interest in the ongoing artistic partnerships and extended her best wishes for the upcoming festival.
