Punjab University Confers Five PhD Degrees in Specialized Fields

LAHORE: Punjab University has awarded five PhD degrees to scholars in various fields, highlighting the institution's commitment to academic excellence and research advancement. The degrees were conferred in the disciplines of Geo-Environmental Conservation and Sustainable Development, International Relations, Pharmacy (Pharmaceutics), Communication Studies, and Microbiology & Molecular Genetics.

According to University of the Punjab, the recipients include Muhammad Amir Fahim, who completed his PhD in Geo-Environmental Conservation and Sustainable Development, and Usman Shahid, who specialized in International Relations. Nadia Mazhar earned her degree in Pharmacy (Pharmaceutics), while Uzair Ahmad completed his studies in Communication Studies. Arshia Latif was awarded her PhD in Microbiology & Molecular Genetics.

The university emphasized that these achievements reflect the dedication of both the students and faculty in contributing to their respective fields. The awarded degrees underscore the institution's role in fostering an environment conducive to high-level research and academic inquiry.
