LAHORE: Punjab University Health Care Centre, in partnership with the Rescue 1122 team, executed a fire safety mock drill to evaluate the facility's readiness and response strategies for fire and emergency situations. According to University of the Punjab, the drill involved participation from Chief Medical Officer Dr. Tehseen Zamir Ali, alongside doctors and staff members, who engaged in a practical demonstration and received training on the use of fire extinguishers.
The exercise provided participants with essential experience in managing fire emergencies. Dr. Tehseen Zamir Ali highlighted the critical nature of such training, noting that timely and effective action during emergencies is crucial for saving lives. She advocated for regular fire safety drills and training to ensure that the staff are prepared and equipped to handle emergency situations confidently.
