Federal Government Consults PPP on Governor’s Rule in KP, We Will Respond Within Constitutional Framework: Nayyer Bukhari

Islamabad: Secretary General of Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians (PPPP), Syed Nayyer Hussain Bukhari, said that if the federal government consults the PPP regarding the imposition of Governor's Rule in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the party will give its views strictly in accordance with the Constitution and law.

According to Pakistan Peoples Party, Bukhari expressed concerns over the law and order situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where security personnel and civilians have been affected by frequent terrorist attacks. He emphasized that while peaceful protest is a democratic right, any attacks on the state under the guise of politics are unacceptable. Bukhari reiterated the PPP's commitment to dialogue and political negotiations, noting that national issues should be resolved through meaningful political engagement. On the matter of an invitation from the Tehreek Tahafuz-e-Aain Pakistan for an All Parties Conference, he stated that the decision would be made by the PPP's Central Executive Committee.
