Karachi: The Vice Chancellor of the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore, Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir, visited Al-Kawthar University in Karachi, where he delivered a lecture on the "Role of the University in Society Development." During his lecture, he discussed the essential contribution of universities to societal development through education, research, and community engagement.

According to University of Engineering and Technology, Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir emphasized the responsibility of higher education institutions to tackle societal issues and promote sustainable national development. The visit included academic interactions and exchanges of ideas with Al-Kawthar University's leadership. A commemorative souvenir was also presented to mark the occasion.
