Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has expressed his deep sorrow and condolences over the passing of Tun Dr Siti Hasmah Mohamad Ali, the wife of former Prime Minister of Malaysia, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

According to Pakistan Peoples Party, President Zardari conveyed his heartfelt condolences to Dr Mahathir Mohamad, his family, and the people of Malaysia during this difficult time. He acknowledged Tun Dr Siti Hasmah's service in medicine, public health, and social welfare, noting that her contributions would be remembered with respect.

President Zardari also offered prayers for the departed soul and wished for strength and patience for Dr Mahathir Mohamad and his family as they cope with this irreparable loss.
