Lahore: The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) in Lahore observed World Pharmacist Day with a walk and seminar aimed at promoting the role of pharmacists in global health. The event was organized by the Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (IPS) at the university's City Campus.

According to University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, the walk was led by UVAS Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Masood Rabbani, with participation from Dr. Tahir Mehmood Khan, Director of the Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, as well as a large group of students and faculty members. The walk commenced at the Vice-Chancellor's Office and concluded in front of the main lawn after a circuit around the city campus.
