Hangzhou: The ongoing women's cricket competition at the Asian Games has led to substantial shifts in the ICC Women's T20I Player Rankings, with several players achieving career-best performances and making notable strides. Shafali Verma of India has entered the top four in the T20I batting rankings following her maiden T20I century, an unbeaten 49-ball effort against Bangladesh.

According to International Cricket Council, Shawaal Zulfiqar has broken into the top 30, moving up 16 places to 29th with a career-best points tally of 558. Zulfiqar's scores in the Asian Games, including 25 in the quarter-finals and 54 in the semi-finals, were instrumental in her rise. Ayesha Zafar, another Pakistan batter, climbed 31 places to 40th after scoring 71 against Sri Lanka, marking a career-best tally of 489 points. Zafar also ascended nine places to 30th in the T20I all-rounder rankings.

Indian bowlers Sree Charani and Deepti Sharma maintained their positions at the top of the T20I bowlers' rankings. Meanwhile, their compatriots Kranti Gaud and Nandani Sharma recorded significant gains, moving up 15 and 22 places, respectively. Pakistan's Fatima Sana and Thailand's Onnicha Kamchomphu also advanced in the rankings following their recent performances.

In another development, South Africa's 5-0 series victory over Zimbabwe triggered changes across the rankings. Anneke Bosch, the leading run-scorer in the series, climbed eight places to 46th. Miane Smit, another standout performer, moved up to a career-best joint 53rd place. Zimbabwe's Nyasha Gwanzura made a notable jump of 28 places to 87th in the T20I bowling rankings, while Annerie Dercksen achieved a career-high points tally in the T20I all-rounder rankings.
