Karachi: Pakistan Cricket Club emerged victorious in the Master Oil Inter Club Cricket Tournament, defeating Alamgir Gymkhana by 109 runs in the final. The tournament, organized by the Regional Cricket Association Karachi, saw participation from 237 teams, marking it as the largest club cricket event in the city's history.

According to Regional Cricket Association Karachi, the tournament was a significant achievement under the leadership of President Nadeem Umar. Vice President Tabish Javed highlighted the association's commitment to providing maximum opportunities for local players to refine their skills. He expressed gratitude to Master Oil for their continued support in promoting club cricket across Karachi.

Vice President Syed Muhammad Talha announced that Naya Nazimabad Gymkhana Ground would be used for future regional matches, stressing the importance of such events for the development of club cricket. Tournament Committee Chairman Khalid Nafees and Joint Secretary M Touseef Siddiqui commended the cooperation of all participating clubs and organizers, crediting them for the tournament's success.

In the final match, Pakistan Cricket Club set a formidable target of 299/6 in 40 overs, with notable performances from Umair bin Yousuf, who scored 98 runs, and Jahanzeb Sultan with 88 runs. In response, Alamgir Gymkhana was bowled out for 190, with Jahanzeb Sultan and Muhammad Asghar leading the bowling attack.

The prize distribution ceremony saw chief guest Tabish Javed award the winner's trophy and a cash prize of two hundred thousand rupees to Pakistan Cricket Club's captain Rameez Aziz. Alamgir Gymkhana received the runner-up trophy and one hundred thousand rupees. Individual accolades were given to Fazal Subhan, Nadir Shah, and Umair bin Yousuf for their outstanding performances.

The ceremony was attended by several dignitaries and officials from various zones, alongside a large number of players, marking a successful culmination of the historic tournament.
