University of Haripur Reviews Research Proposals in 52nd Advanced Studies Meeting

HARIPUR: The University of Haripur convened the 52nd meeting of its Advanced Studies & Research Board on August 25, 2026, focusing on the evaluation and approval of research synopses and extra semester requests for postgraduate students. The meeting, led by Prof. Dr. Abid Farid, Vice Chancellor of the university, addressed key academic matters relating to MS/MPhil and PhD programs.

According to The University of Haripur, the board reviewed 32 research synopses submitted by MS/MPhil and PhD candidates. After thorough deliberations, 22 synopses were approved, including 12 from MPhil students and 8 from PhD candidates. The remaining submissions were returned to the respective departments' Graduate Research Committees for revision and further evaluation.

The board also examined requests for extra semesters for postgraduate students, deliberating these cases in line with the institution's semester rules and regulations. The meeting concluded with Prof. Dr. Abid Farid expressing gratitude to the board members for their contributions.
