Lahore: The Pakistan Cricket Board announced the launch of the Men's Regional U19 Academies across 16 regions, involving 20 teams and approximately 500 players, starting today. The initiative aims to develop professional cricketing skills among young players.

According to Pakistan Cricket Board, the academies will provide various facilities at regional headquarters, where players will train under PCB coaches. The program aligns with the U19 tournaments scheduled for the 2026-27 domestic season. Upon completing the academies, the 20 regional teams will compete in the National U19 Cup and National U19 Trophy, with the schedule to be released later.
