Lahore: The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) in Lahore inaugurated the 10th National Workshop on Reproductive Ultrasonography in Domestic Animals. The event, organized by the Department of Theriogenology, aims to enhance the skills and knowledge of participants in diagnosing reproductive issues and improving fertility in domestic animals through ultrasonography.

According to University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, the workshop was presided over by Prof Dr Masood Rabbani. Other notable attendees included Dean of Faculty Veterinary Science Prof Dr Kamran Ashraf, Dean of Faculty Bio-science Prof Dr Habib-Ur-Rehman, Emeritus Prof Dr Nasim Ahmad, and Prof Dr Amjad Riaz. The workshop has drawn a diverse group of participants, including farm managers, para-veterinary workers, faculty members, and students.

The workshop focuses on equipping participants with practical knowledge and skills related to the use and application of ultrasound technology in the reproductive management of domestic animals such as cows, buffalo, sheep, goats, and dogs. Through this initiative, UVAS aims to advance the understanding and application of reproductive ultrasonography, ultimately improving fertility outcomes in domestic animal populations.
