UVAS Vice-Chancellor Initiates Tree Plantation Campaign to Mark Independence Day

LAHORE: The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore, Prof. Dr. Masood Rabbani, initiated a tree plantation campaign to encourage greenery as part of Pakistan's Independence Day celebrations. Prof. Dr. Kamran Ashraf, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Science, and Prof. Dr. Habib-ur-Rehman, Dean of the Faculty of Biosciences, joined Prof. Rabbani in planting a sapling in front of the Vice-Chancellor's Office. Several faculty and administrative staff members, including Principal Officer of City Campus Prof. Dr. Muhammad Azam and Director of Student Affairs Dr. Muhammad Oneeb, were also in attendance.

According to the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, the campaign aims to plant a significant number of saplings across all UVAS campuses. Prof. Dr. Masood Rabbani underscored the importance of the initiative during his address, stating that it seeks to promote greenery throughout the university.
