First Lady Asifa Bhutto Zardari Highlights Youth Empowerment on International Youth Day

Islamabad: First Lady and Member of the National Assembly, Bibi Asifa Bhutto Zardari, extended her greetings to the youth in Pakistan and globally on International Youth Day. In her message, she emphasized the crucial role of young people in the nation's development and highlighted the need for support and opportunities to foster their growth.

According to Pakistan Peoples Party, Asifa Bhutto Zardari underscored that with 67% of its population under 30, Pakistan boasts one of the largest youth demographics worldwide. She hailed the youth's contributions to various sectors, including technology, education, healthcare, and the arts, as fundamental to the country's progress.

The First Lady stressed the importance of providing young people with access to quality education, skill development, and employment opportunities. She called for an inclusive approach to empower youth from all backgrounds, emphasizing the elimination of barriers for young women and marginalized groups to ensure their full participation in national life.

Asifa Bhutto Zardari urged civil society, families, educational institutions, and government bodies to actively support and mentor the younger generation, asserting that their empowerment is essential for a prosperous future for Pakistan.
