University of Sargodha to Host National Conference on Future of Education in Murree

Murree: The University of Sargodha is set to organize the Fourth National Conference on "Future of Education 2026" from July 10 to 11 at Kohsar University Murree. The event aims to gather leading educationists, vice chancellors, and researchers from across Pakistan to discuss the evolving landscape of higher education and future academic challenges.

According to University of Sargodha, the conference will see Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas serving as the Patron-in-Chief, while internationally recognized scientist and COMSTECH Coordinator General, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Iqbal Choudhary, will be the chief guest. Keynote addresses will be delivered by prominent vice chancellors, including Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran of The Islamia University of Bahawalpur and Prof. Dr. Nasir Mahmood of Allama Iqbal Open University, Islamabad, among others.

A panel discussion will feature distinguished academic leaders, such as Prof. Dr. Ashfaq Ahmed of Ghazi University, Dera Ghazi Khan, and Prof. Dr. Umar Chaudhry of Government College University Lahore. These panelists will share insights on issues affecting the future of higher education in Pakistan.

Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas expressed confidence in the conference’s capacity to provide a platform for academic leadership, collaboration, and policy dialogue. He emphasized the role of eminent scholars and university heads in contributing to a forward-looking educational agenda for the country. Conference Coordinator Prof. Dr. Ejaz Rasool Noorka confirmed that all arrangements have been finalized.

This conference marks the fourth in a series initiated under Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas's leadership. It will also see participation from the University of Sargodha's deans, directors, principals, and senior administrative officers, alongside renowned educationists from across the nation.
