Beaconhouse Partners with PCB to Enhance Communication Skills of National Cricketers

Lahore: Beaconhouse has partnered with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to launch a tailored programme, 'Communication Skills for Professional Cricketers', aimed at enhancing the communication abilities of cricketers participating in the NCA camp. This initiative underscores the importance of communication in sports, encompassing teamwork, leadership, and media engagement on and off the field.

According to Pakistan Cricket Board, the programme, developed at the PCB's request, consists of 11 interactive sessions specifically designed for professional cricketers. It addresses the communication challenges of high-performance sports, focusing on professional communication, media readiness, active listening, emotional intelligence, self-awareness, emotional regulation, and effective representation. The sessions include practical scenarios and simulations, helping players apply these skills under high-pressure sporting and public-facing circumstances.

Fareeha Ahmad, Director Education Development at Beaconhouse School System, expressed the institution's commitment to the holistic development of Pakistan's national athletes. She stated, "We are honoured to collaborate with the Pakistan Cricket Board on a programme that supports the holistic development of Pakistan's national athletes. Through this customised programme, our aim is to support players as they represent themselves, their teams and Pakistan with even greater confidence and professionalism."

The collaboration is part of Beaconhouse's broader dedication to leadership development and lifelong learning, extending its expertise from education to the realm of professional sports.
