Lahore: The Department of Microbiology at the University of Central Punjab successfully conducted its statutory meetings, which included the Industrial Advisory Board (IAB) and Board of Studies (BOS). During these sessions, the department endorsed a revised curriculum for the Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Technology (AHP), which had recently been approved by the National Curriculum Review Committee (NCRC) of the Higher Education Commission. Additionally, the meetings saw the approval of MS research synopses.
According to the University of Central Punjab, the meetings featured the presence of external members, including Prof. Dr. Saba Riaz from the University of the Punjab and Dr. Muhammad Sohail from Riphah International University, Lahore. These experts were instrumental in the evaluation and approval of the academic proposals and curriculum changes, ensuring alignment with national educational standards and industry requirements.
