UoS IT Students Demonstrate Tech Innovations at Sargodha Exhibition

SARGODHA: Students from the University of Sargodha's Department of Information Technology unveiled projects in Artificial Intelligence, cybersecurity, Internet of Things, and mobile applications at the Final Year Projects Exhibition 2026 held at the university's Multi-Purpose Hall. The event showcased technology-driven solutions addressing real-world challenges, underscoring the department's emphasis on practical and industry-aligned learning.

According to University of Sargodha, Vice Chancellor Prof Dr. Qaisar Abbas and Pro Vice Chancellor Prof Dr. Masood Sarwar Awan attended the exhibition, commending both students and faculty for their commitment to innovation and academic excellence. The exhibition was organized by Dr. Khalid Mahmood Aamir, Incharge Department of IT, and Prof Dr. Muhammad Ilyas, Dean of the Faculty of Computing and IT.

The event featured participation from faculty members and industry representatives who evaluated the students' projects. Organizers and attendees called for enhanced research-based learning and increased student exposure to practical technological applications, marking the conclusion of the exhibition.
