Islamabad: The International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) commenced its Indoor Games with an opening ceremony that also featured a Kashmir Solidarity Walk. The event was organized by the Directorate of Student Affairs (Male) in observance of Kashmir Solidarity Day 2026.

According to International Islamic University Islamabad, Syed Hassan Aftab, Vice President (Administration and Finance), served as the Chief Guest for the event. He officially launched the Indoor Games by participating in a table tennis match with Dr. H. Ghufran Ahmad, Director Student Affairs (Male).

The event concluded with a Kashmir Solidarity Walk led by the Vice President, accompanied by officials from the Directorate of Student Affairs (Male) and the Sports Section (Male) of IIUI. A significant number of students, faculty members, and administrative officials took part in the activities to show unity and support for the people of Kashmir. The event underscored IIUI's dedication to peace, human rights awareness, and national solidarity.
