Abu Dhabi: H.E. Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence of the United Arab Emirates, met with President Asif Ali Zardari in Abu Dhabi today to discuss the significance of dialogue, inclusivity, and peaceful coexistence. The meeting highlighted the shared values between the UAE and Pakistan in promoting harmony among diverse communities.
According to Pakistan Peoples Party, President Zardari praised the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and commended the UAE’s national vision, which has established the country as a model of tolerance and human fraternity. He acknowledged the UAE’s achievements in creating unity and mutual respect among over 200 nationalities, presenting it as a compelling example of social cohesion.
President Zardari emphasized that these values align with Pakistan’s commitment to interfaith harmony and social inclusion, values that are deeply rooted in Pakistan’s Constitution and societal customs. The meeting was also attended by First Lady Bibi Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, Chairman People’s Party Mr. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Federal Minister for Interior and Narcotics Control Syed Mohsin Naqvi, and Pakistan’s Ambassador to the UAE.
