UVAS Hosts Seminar to Honor Birth Anniversary of Hazrat Ali (AS)

Lahore: The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) held a seminar to commemorate the birth anniversary of Hazrat Ali (AS), focusing on his life, teachings, and legacy. The event, organized by the UVAS Qirat and Naat Society, took place at the City Campus in Lahore and aimed to provide insights into Hazrat Ali's wisdom, leadership, and values.

The seminar was presided over by UVAS Vice-Chancellor Meritorious Prof Dr. Muhammad Younus, with Prof Dr. Muhammad Shahbaz Manj, Chairman of the Education University, as the Guest of Honor. Attendees included faculty members and students, alongside notable figures such as Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Science, Prof Dr. Aneela Zameer Durrani, and Convener of the Qirat and Naat Society, Dr. Sarwar Siddique.

In his address, Prof Dr. Muhammad Younus discussed various facets of Hazrat Ali's life, highlighting his courage, military leadership, and his close relationship with the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). He noted that Hazrat Ali was the first to believe in the Prophet and was born in the Kaaba, emphasizing his esteemed position in Islamic history.

Prof Dr. Muhammad Shahbaz Manj referred to the works of Dr. Allama Iqbal, citing poetry that underscores the significance of Hazrat Ali's bravery and his role in the Islamic nation. The seminar aimed to inspire students by acquainting them with the virtues and sacrifices of Hazrat Ali, encouraging them to emulate his principles.

The event also featured Quran recitations by students, a Manqabat by Dr. Muhammad Sarwar Siddique, and a cake-cutting ceremony in celebration of Hazrat Ali's birth.
