Islamabad: The University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore made a significant impact at the TDF Impact Showcasing (TIS'25), organized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) on December 30, 2025. The event, held at the Pak-China Friendship Centre, featured over 100 advanced technological solutions developed under HEC's Technology Development Fund (TDF) program.
UET Lahore's contribution was highlighted through innovative projects presented by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mohsin from the Department of Textile Engineering and Prof. Dr. Muhammad Tahir from the Department of Electrical Engineering. These projects underscored UET's dedication to technological advancement and research excellence.
Further reinforcing UET's commitment to fostering academia-industry linkages, the ORIC-UET Lahore team, including Dr. Muhammad Zia-Ul-Haq and Mr. Muhammad Shahzad, played an active role at the event.
The TIS'25 exhibition provided a platform for interaction among policymakers, industry leaders, and academic experts, aimed at promoting the integration of government, industry, and academia. This initiative is crucial for sustainable, technology-driven development in Pakistan.
HEC's TDF program continues to be instrumental in nurturing such collaborations, enabling the scaling and strengthening of the country's innovation landscape.
