Islamabad: The Directorate of Human Resource Management and Development at the International Islamic University Islamabad has successfully concluded a professional training program focused on enhancing employee competencies and fostering a student-centered culture. The initiative, titled "Professional Conduct and Positive Student Engagement," aimed to improve interactions with students and promote ethical practices within the university.

The program comprised four modules delivered through sixteen interactive sessions, engaging 165 university employees. The training covered crucial areas such as emotional intelligence, ethical behavior, and effective communication, encouraging staff to adopt empathetic approaches to daily student interactions.

Dr. Nazia Iqbal, Assistant Professor of Psychology, delivered a presentation on understanding student psychology, emphasizing the importance of support staff in facilitating student progress and wellbeing. Her insights highlighted that proactive staff engagement significantly boosts student satisfaction and success.

In the final session, Mr. Saqib Rashid, Deputy Director of HRMand D, provided guidance on employment regulations, aiming to reinforce transparency and professional accountability. He offered clarity on service rules and institutional policies.

Concluding the program, Mr. Hassan Aftab, Director HRMand D, stressed the value of continuous learning and professional development, highlighting that such initiatives enhance institutional professionalism and workforce effectiveness.
