Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has extended a message of congratulations to the Republic of Cuba on the occasion of the Triumph of the Revolution Day. The message, directed to Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, highlighted the longstanding friendship and cooperation between Pakistan and Cuba.

The statement recalled Cuba’s significant humanitarian assistance to Pakistan following the 2005 earthquake, where Cuba dispatched over 2,400 medical professionals and established 32 field hospitals in the affected regions.
