Muntada Aid Boosts Efforts to Provide Bread and Water in Gaza

Gaza: Muntada Aid has intensified its emergency support efforts in Gaza by distributing freshly made bread and providing clean drinking water to thousands. The organization is currently reaching 1,500 individuals with freshly baked bread and supplying clean water to over 4,100 people daily. Additionally, 500 hot meals are being served each day.

The challenges of procuring food and raw materials for these distributions remain significant, characterized by high costs and safety risks. The expense of providing a basic meal in Gaza exceeds £4, a stark contrast to the cost of under £0.50 for a nutritious meal in Chad for Sudanese refugees.

Muntada Aid’s appeal for continued donations highlights the ongoing need for support in Gaza, where the organization has served over 172,000 people with food, water, and medical aid since October 2023.
