PESHAWAR: The PAF Hashim Khan Squash Academy players showcased their prowess on the second day of the CAS National Junior Squash Championship 2025, as they dominated the event with impressive victories. The competition, which saw its second round of matches today, will continue with the quarterfinals scheduled for tomorrow.
In the U-17 category, PAF players emerged as strong contenders, with Yahya Asad defeating M Shahzeb in a swift 3-0 match lasting just 20 minutes. Similarly, Ahmed Rayan Khalil secured a 3-0 victory against M Hamza Khan in 18 minutes. Other notable performances included M Ali Khan and Abdullah Zaman, both of whom won their matches in under 12 minutes.
The U-15 category also witnessed PAF’s strength, with Mamoon Khan overpowering Shayyan Zeb in a 3-0 match. Meanwhile, Amir Adnan from Punjab secured a win after his opponent, Oqail Durrani from KP, retired early. Sohail Adnan and Faizan Khan also claimed victories in their respective matches.
In the U-11 category, PAF players continued their dominance. M Sameer achieved a 3-0 win over M Shahzad, and Anas Rafeh defeated Zulqarnain with the same scoreline. Abdul Kareem Qadeer from Punjab managed a narrow 3-2 victory over M Azan Zaman from PAF.
The U-13 matches saw Raheel Victor from Sindh defeating Yahya Farman with a 3-0 score. Aziz Ali Naz and Ahmed Ali Naz, both representing PAF, won their matches with ease, securing their spots in the next round.
As the championship advances to the quarterfinals, the players from PAF Hashim Khan Squash Academy remain the ones to watch, having demonstrated formidable skill and determination in the early rounds.
