Faisalabad: The Faisalabad Business School department clinched victory over the Weaving department in the Inter-Departmental Badminton Championship 2025, held at the National Textile University, Faisalabad.
The championship concluded with the Faisalabad Business School team emerging victorious after a competitive match, securing a 3-2 win in sets against the Weaving department.
The final match was attended by Mr. Waqar Ahmed, Convener of the Sports Committee, who introduced the participating teams. His presence highlighted the importance of sports in fostering camaraderie and competition among the university’s departments.
In addition to Mr. Ahmed, Sports Officers Imran Ali Gill and Sardar Parvez Akhtar were also present at the event, underscoring the significance of the championship within the university’s sporting calendar.
