Sargodha: The University of Sargodha commemorated International Labor Day through a significant art exhibition organized by its Institute of Art and Design. The event, which highlighted the efforts and challenges of workers, featured more than 180 artworks crafted by students.

The exhibition included an impressive array of over 70 photographs, 100 posters, and seven short videos. These creative pieces served as a tribute to the labor force’s vital role in national development.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas inaugurated the exhibition and praised the students for their artistic work and dedication to addressing social issues. “This exhibition not only showcases creativity but also reflects a deep understanding of societal realities,” he stated.

Maryam Saif, the Director of the Institute, emphasized the importance of the exhibition as a platform for students to apply their skills in engaging with significant social themes. “It is encouraging to see art being used as a medium to raise awareness and inspire empathy,” she remarked.

The event was well-attended, with exhibition curators Naveed Sharif and Ahsan Jameel, faculty members, and a large number of students present.
