Islamabad: The outdoor games segment of Sports Gala 2025 began at the male campus cricket ground, uniting students from 11 faculties in a series of sports competitions.
The opening ceremony featured Dr. Saeed Badshah, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, as the chief guest. The event, organized by the Directorate of Student Affairs, includes participation from both Pakistani and international students. Competitions in cricket, football, basketball, mini cricket, and track races are part of the lineup.
Dr. Badshah praised the enthusiasm of the students and emphasized the role of sports in developing teamwork and leadership skills. He noted the high energy and participation across faculties.
Dr. Ghufran Ali, Students’ Advisor, reiterated the university’s commitment to providing extracurricular opportunities that foster growth and healthy competition.
