Shari’ah Academy and Mahad-ul-Faqeer al-Islami Collaborate to Enhance Academic Exchange

Islamabad: In a strategic move to bolster academic exchange and collaboration, the Shari’ah Academy of the International Islamic University has entered into a memorandum of understanding with Mahad-ul-Faqeer al-Islami, based in Jhang, Pakistan. The agreement aims to facilitate joint educational initiatives, including diploma and certificate courses, particularly through online platforms.

The memorandum was signed by Moulana Habib Ullah Ahmad, President of Mahad-ul-Faqeer al-Islami, and Prof. Dr. Muhammad Akram of the Shari’ah Academy. This partnership marks a significant step towards launching collaborative training programs and workshops between the two institutions.

Prior to the signing, a meeting was held between the academic and administrative staff of the Shari’ah Academy and Moulana Habib Ullah. During the meeting, Moulana Habib Ullah shared insights into Mahad-ul-Faqeer al-Islami’s activities, particularly highlighting the E-Mahad online section, which boasts an enrollment of over twenty-five thousand students globally.

Dr. Akram briefed Moulana Habib Ullah on the Shari’ah Academy’s existing programs and its efforts to expand its reach through partnerships with both national and international institutions. The Academy aims to enhance its outreach activities by collaborating with key religious and legal learning centers across Pakistan.

The signing ceremony was attended by scholars and officials from the Academy, symbolizing a shared commitment to fostering educational development in the field of religious and legal studies.
