NUST Celebrates Eid-ul-Fitr with Community Gatherings and Festivities


Islamabad: In a display of unity and celebration, the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) marked Eid-ul-Fitr with a series of events aimed at fostering community spirit and cultural appreciation. The day began with Eid prayers, followed by Rector NUST Dr. Muhammad Zahid Latif extending warm greetings to the staff on duty.



The celebrations continued with Pro-Rectors engaging students from various regions and international backgrounds, as well as staff members, in activities that highlighted togetherness and cultural exchange. These interactions were designed to enhance a sense of belonging and offer a platform for sharing diverse cultural experiences.



On the eve of Eid, known as Chand Raat, the NUST Administration organized bustling Eid bazaars and mehndi stalls at the Southedge Cafe and the residential complex. These events contributed to the festive atmosphere, allowing participants to create lasting memories while engaging in traditional Eid preparations.



The series of events underscored NUST’s commitment to celebrating cultural occasions with joy and inclusivity, bringing together a diverse community in a shared celebration of Eid-ul-Fitr.
