Faisalabad: Mohammad Yousuf has resigned from his position on the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) national selection committee, opting to dedicate more time to his coaching responsibilities, particularly as the batting coach at the High Performance Centre.
According to Pakistan Cricket Board, the PCB has acknowledged Yousuf’s significant contributions during his tenure on the selection committee and expressed appreciation for his ongoing commitment to cricket in Pakistan. Yousuf, who also served as the head coach for the Pakistan U19 team in the recent ICC U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup 2024 in South Africa, where the team finished third, will continue to impart his expertise in developing young talents at the PCB.
Yousuf’s shift in focus highlights the PCB’s strategy of leveraging experienced former players to enhance the skills and performance of upcoming cricketers within the country.
