Jamshoro: The Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (MUET) has launched the MUTA Need Cum Merit Scholarship program aimed at supporting undergraduate students from the 2024 batch who exhibit both financial need and academic potential.

According to Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, the scholarship is available to students enrolled in various undergraduate programs, including engineering, architecture, computer science, and several others. Eligible students must have scored at least 50 marks in the MUET entry test and must not be beneficiaries of any other scholarship or enrolled under self-finance schemes. Additionally, the gross monthly income of the applicant’s family must not exceed PKR 80,000.

The application process requires students to submit several documents, including salary slips, income certificates, NIC copies, academic transcripts, and a statement of purpose, among others. Applications are to be submitted online via the university’s official scholarship portal, with a deadline set for October 4, 2024.

This scholarship initiative reflects MUET’s commitment to making higher education accessible to all students based on merit and need, thereby promoting academic excellence and support among the youth of Pakistan.
