Islamabad: The National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) has entered into a Memorandum of Agreement with Study in UK (SI-UK) to facilitate and expand international educational opportunities for its students. This new partnership focuses on supporting NUST students in their pursuit of global academic experiences and scholarships.

According to National University of Sciences and Technology, the agreement was orchestrated by the NUST Placement Office and aims to provide NUST students with resources and guidance to apply to international universities. SI-UK will assist in securing university placements abroad, navigating the application process, and obtaining scholarships. The collaboration also includes SI-UK offering free educational webinars, organizing campus visits to international universities, and involving NUST in various international Education EXPOs.

A significant aspect of the partnership is the establishment of the “SI-UK Scholarship Fund” at NUST. This initiative will support an undergraduate student every year for the next four years, covering up to 100% of their tuition fees based on merit and financial need. The scholarship arrangement also includes provisions to adjust the fund to match inflation rates, ensuring continuous support for the selected students over the period.

This collaboration marks a step forward in NUST’s commitment to enhancing educational prospects for its students through increased global mobility and academic opportunities.
